Over the last few months, I have heard over and over how the health care reform will be historic. So much infact, that I am beginning to believe that these people call it historic because they dont know anything else about it. They just want to be part of history, kinda like how the media wanted to be part of Obama’s election. But that is beside the point.
The point is, government takeover of 1/6th of our economy shouldnt be something you do so you can get in with the Beltway cool club. Obama, Pelosi, Baucus and most liberals have glorified it’s historic value. Today Senator Snowe drank the Kool-Aid and said to her coleagues that dispite her mis-givings, when history calls, it calls.
